The River Wandle is a tributary of the Thames in south-west London extending 23.5km from the North Downs through Croydon and Wimbledon to Wandsworth. Wandle Vistas identifies 10 key viewpoints across the 20,000ha catchment area for protection and enhancement, representing the story of the valley’s setting, history and development. We trained local volunteers to work with us on the landscape character assessments that identified the vistas.
The outputs include a technical document, interpretive guide, and film, which are available to view on the Wandle Valley Regional Park website by clicking here.
