Murray visited Vestre’s impressive new BIG-designed production facility The Plus – ‘the world’s most environmentally friendly furniture factory’ – in the woods north of Magnor, Norway, combined with a few days in Oslo at Vestre HQ and the company’s Snohetta-designed steel factory at Torsby in Sweden. Other standout trip experiences were Snohetta’s Oslo Opera House and a detour to Sverre Fehn’s incredible Hedmark Museum at Hamar. Many thanks to all at Vestre for a wonderful time.

Murray and Jess enjoyed a fantastic trip to Barcelona as the guests of Urbidermis, visiting their beautiful campus headquarters at Parc de Belloch, where they’ve established a tree nursery. We visited some of the recent green retro-fitted Superblocks in Eixample, and the enormous ongoing transformations at Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes. Huge thanks to Urbidermis and All Urban.
